Dante Belly Edema

Well now Dante has a big edema on his belly on the left side sort of in front of his sheath. I initially freaked out because a couple months ago the vets had brought up the possibility of him having a tumor down there since his sheath has also been swollen for quite some time.

However, the edema is fluid-y and isn't warm to the touch. It doesn't both him at all. So I think that it may be one of many things: A reaction to a bug bite, irritation/swelling from him laying down on the stall mats in his stall, or just him not getting enough exercise. We'll see. Hopefully the swelling goes down on its own! If it doesn't, then I'm going to have to call the vet. At least at this point it doesn't seem to be bothering him. That's the main thing I'm worried about! If it's cosmetic, I can deal with that.

I rode at Los Lagos a week ago on March 22nd, it was such a great ride! I rode Heather Kelly's horse Baby and we had so much fun. Our flat work was basic but I worked a lot on getting her in a frame
