Dante January 18th

Since it was a 3-day weekend this weekend, I got to actually drive out to the barn yesterday (instead of bike!) I took Liv with me (@/livtothemax13) and she took some pictures of Dante and I for me.  It was her first time using a fancy Canon Rebel and she did great! I'll attach some photos to this post and I'll actually try to be better about that from here on out if I get pictures.

Dante was so hyped up yesterday (I think just because it was incredibly foggy!)  He worried me a little at first because he wanted to take off and canter but he was either hopping on his back legs or he was cross cantering.  After he settled though, his canter looked actually very sound! His trot is still a little rough because he has more of a chance to drop that stifle down, but I think he's still improving.  He was a good boy.  He even rolled and let me walk up to him, and put his nose up into my hands while he was laying down! That's an improvement... He doesn't lay down for long, and doesn't like feeling vulnerable while he's down.

One of the few tacking up photos I have... Dante gets so nervous!

I love his expression in this picture.

Love that canter.

He was a little wild. :)

This one is a little blurry, but I had to include it just because I love the moment in captured!

I rode at Los Lagos a week ago on March 22nd, it was such a great ride! I rode Heather Kelly's horse Baby and we had so much fun. Our flat work was basic but I worked a lot on getting her in a frame
